About Me

Hello, everyone!

My name is Siti Hadianti, and I am currently teaching at the Department of English Education, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Universitas Terbuka (UT), Indonesia. I have been an English lecturer since 2019 at the country’s only open university. My research focuses on online learning and language skills.

Before joining UT, I worked as an English tutor at LPIA and LIA Pamulang in 2017. Prior to that, I was an intern at the international office of UHAMKA and also gained experience as a homeroom teacher at Sekolah Alam Bekasi and Sekolah Al Zahra Indonesia in Tangerang Selatan.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) in 2012 and completed my master’s in English education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA (UHAMKA) in 2016. That same year, just before my thesis defense, I had the incredible opportunity to join an exchange program at Sofia University, Bulgaria, thanks to a five-month Erasmus+ scholarship.

Now, I live in Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan, with my husband and our two lovely daughters. In my free time, I enjoy blogging, traveling with my family, and watching thriller movies with my husband. One of our biggest dreams is to see the northern lights someday—we can’t wait for that adventure!
