IELTS Preparation Course by IALF

Yesterday was the last day of our preparation class for IELTS. In my case, this is the third time training facilitated by Unit Pengembangan Profesi (UPP) – now PSDM – Universitas Terbuka. So grateful that I got this opportunity to learn from the professional. Yes, IALF, the organizer, has the expertise and experience in teaching IELTS for more than 30 years.

Beside exercises, we also got the chance to try the paper based test in the classroom during the course. The score of my Listening was 90%, Reading 88%, and Writing A-. I’m quite happy with the result. For the Speaking, David told me it was good and I need to improve the grammar. Really satisfied with the feedback provided by the instructor.

Our instructor, David Airth, gave us various practices in this 2-weeks training. To be honest, I think he is the best tutor so far. This is my third training, you know. Today, we just finished IELTS Insights, the simulation before the official test that will be held in June. In the simulation test, I had some troubles, which were my lame laptop and poor connection. However, in the end, I still managed. Hope the result will be fine.

Looking forward to the official test in Jakarta. It will be my third time taking IELTS test and I hope I can reach my band score target this time. Thank you UT for all the facilities.
